Jalgaon: Jain Irrigation Completes Hat-Trick, Bags 8 Plex Concil Export Awards
Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (JISL) has achieved a remarkable hat-trick at the Plastics Export Promotion Council’s Export Excellence Awards, securing a total of eight accolades across two award cycles—2023–24 and 2024–25. The ceremony, marking the council’s Platinum Jubilee, was held at Hotel The Leela in Mumbai on November 16.
On behalf of JISL, Vice President Anil Jain accepted the honors from Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. He was joined by senior colleagues including Dr. Anil Patil, V. M. Bhat, Dr. Balkrishna Yadav, Rajendra Mahajan, S. N. Patil, K. B. Sonar, Suchita Keravant, and Deepa Shivde.
The celebration recognized outstanding performers while commemorating 70 years of excellence in India’s plastics sector. Distinguished attendees included industrialist M. P. Tapadia, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Suresh Narvekar, Ravish Kamat, Council Chairman Vikram Badhoria, Vice-Chairman Sachin Shah, Hemant Menocha, and Shribash Dashmohpatra, who participated in a ceremonial lamp lighting.
Established in 1955 under the Department of Commerce and Industry, the Plastics Export Promotion Council (Plexconcil) honors top-performing exporters across plastic categories with plaques and certificates. Notably, Jain Irrigation has been recognized by the council every year since 1991 for quality manufacturing and exports.
