QSTP launches revamped Incubation Programme with Fall 2026 cohort
Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), part of Qatar Foundation, has unveiled a redesigned Incubation Programme and welcomed its Fall 2026 cohort: 52 startups from Qatar and around the world. Spanning 16 weeks, the new pathway is built to speed founders from validation to launch and investment readiness, with a clear structure that integrates venture development, execution, market access, and investor engagement.
A 16-week, three-phase journey
The refreshed programme brings together everything founders need in one continuous track—intensive skill-building, supervised implementation, direct exposure to customers, and curated investor connections—organized into three phases:
- Sprint (4 weeks): An intensive start designed to pressure-test each venture across product–market fit, go-to-market plans, product readiness, market potential, financial fundamentals, and team dynamics. Through workshops, hands-on development, mentorship, fieldwork, and frequent pitching, founders are expected to validate assumptions, demonstrate traction, and strengthen their business models.
- Incubation (8 weeks): Startups that pass a structured evaluation move into execution. The focus shifts to building the company, engaging with the local market, securing pilot opportunities, and preparing for regional scale and fundraising.
- Funding (4 weeks): The final stretch connects investment-ready ventures with potential backers. QSTP facilitates targeted investor introductions and supports follow-up discussions to help teams convert momentum into capital.
“Successful startups are built by testing assumptions, proving demand, and turning evidence into action. Our reimagined Incubation Programme gives ambitious founders the support, access, and opportunities to build high-potential companies, establish themselves in Qatar, and expand across the region,” said Rama Chakaki, President of QSTP.
Diverse Fall 2026 cohort
The inaugural cohort of the revamped programme brings together 25 local and 27 international startups operating across 19 sectors, including EdTech, MedTech, FinTech, cybersecurity, and SportsTech. The cohort commenced on September 1, becoming the first to progress through QSTP’s renewed incubation journey.
By combining rigorous validation with practical market engagement and investor access, QSTP’s updated Incubation Programme aims to accelerate the growth of high-impact ventures, strengthen Qatar’s innovation ecosystem, and position founders for long-term success across regional and global markets.
