WAC Beyond 2025 Highlights Kerala’s Growing Role in Technology and Marketing
Kochi, Kerala witnessed a remarkable gathering at the Grand Hyatt as Webandcrafts (WAC), a prominent digital solutions company based in Kerala, hosted the WAC Beyond – Technology and Marketing Summit 2025. The summit, which attracted over 1,000 participants, was a significant event marking WAC’s 13th anniversary and serving as a precursor to WAC Beyond 1.0 slated for 2026. It promises to be one of the largest innovation platforms in the state.
Billed as South India’s largest technology and marketing summit, the event drew business leaders, policymakers, and innovators to deliberate on the transformative impact emerging technologies are having on industries. The discussions underscored the crucial blend of technology and marketing in today’s fast-paced business environment.
P. Rajeeve, the Minister for Law, Industries, and Coir, Government of Kerala, highlighted the event’s significance by stating, “Technology, when used effectively, enables businesses to scale and adapt to rapid changes. It is inspiring to see a startup from Koratty achieve such success in a relatively short time.” Hibi Eden, Member of Parliament, echoed this sentiment, noting, “Technology and marketing are a powerful combination. WAC’s journey exemplifies how a young company can inject fresh energy and relevance into the business landscape.”
Founded in 2012 at Infopark, Thrissur, Webandcrafts has transformed from a humble startup into a trusted digital partner for over 500 clients globally, successfully delivering upwards of 1,500 projects across various sectors including retail, manufacturing, finance, healthcare, and hospitality. The company’s main expertise lies in Experience Design, Product Engineering, E-commerce Development, and Digital Marketing.
“We began with modest resources, but with the right people and clear values, we’ve built something of global relevance,” expressed Abin Jose Tom, Managing Director and Founder of Webandcrafts, reflecting on the company’s growth and journey.
A noteworthy moment at the summit was a partnership session with Google, designed to enhance WAC’s capabilities in AI and automation. This collaboration aims to accelerate businesses in adopting quicker, technology-led solutions.
Another highlight was the launch of official websites for Synthite Industries Pvt Ltd, the world’s largest producer of spice extracts, powders, and essential oils, and Jain (Deemed-to-be) University. These developments underscore WAC’s commitment to driving digital innovation and enhancing client service.
“Celebrating our 13th year is about acknowledging the people who have been part of this journey,” said Jilu Joseph, Chief Executive Officer of Webandcrafts, emphasizing the importance of scaling innovation through technology-first thinking.
The evening concluded with a celebratory awards ceremony, where three senior employees were recognized for their outstanding contributions with new Mahindra XEV 9e cars, symbolizing the company’s appreciation of dedication and excellence.
