Air Zim increases flight frequency on Harare-Dar es Salaam route – herald
Air Zimbabwe has increased the frequency of its Harare–Dar es Salaam service to three flights a week, effective November 6, 2025.
The national carrier currently operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays and will add a Thursday flight to accommodate growing demand as the festive season approaches.
“This enhancement offers greater flexibility and convenience, particularly for business and leisure travellers connecting to Tanzania’s largest city and economic hub,” the airline said in a statement.
Dar es Salaam is a key commercial and industrial centre for the region, anchored by a major seaport that functions as a gateway to East Africa. With an economy powered by trade, services, and manufacturing, the city continues to draw a rising number of travellers for both business and tourism.
- Effective date: November 6, 2025
- New frequency: three weekly flights
- Operating days: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
- Focus: enhanced connectivity for business and leisure travellers
The expanded schedule is expected to improve regional connectivity, support cross-border trade, and provide more travel options ahead of the peak holiday period. Travellers are encouraged to check the latest schedules and plan accordingly.
