Bhatti invites Governor for Global Summit

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka met Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Saturday and extended a formal invitation to attend the Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled for December 8–9 at Future City. The event aims to showcase the state’s economic vision, attract investments, and strengthen partnerships across India and abroad.

In parallel outreach, Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka called on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Benerjee to invite her to participate in the summit. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, presenting an overview of Telangana’s recent development initiatives and the breadth of investment opportunities available in the state.

During the meeting, Tummala highlighted that the summit will draw a wide spectrum of national and international industrialists, investors, and domain experts. He emphasized that participation from Madhya Pradesh could open fresh avenues for collaboration between the two states, noting that mutual cooperation is pivotal to the development journeys of both Telangana and Madhya Pradesh. He described the summit as a timely platform to deepen these ties.

Tribal Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman also met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema to extend invitations. In their discussions, the leaders underscored the significance of the summit for Telangana’s future growth trajectory, the state’s investment potential, and the opportunity it presents for inter-state cooperation.

Laxman detailed Telangana’s business-friendly environment, including fast-track approvals available through TS-iPASS, the state’s approach to attracting foreign investment, and ongoing progress in the IT, pharma, and electronics sectors. With Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on an overseas visit, the invitation was conveyed to Punjab’s Finance Minister Harpal Singh on behalf of the state.

The conversations also explored collaborative prospects between Punjab and Telangana in areas such as agricultural processing, agritech, MSMEs, startup ecosystems, tourism and cultural exchange, and green energy. Punjab expressed interest in working closely with Telangana to advance these shared priorities.

Organizers anticipate that the summit will witness multiple agreements across key sectors, including film studios, tourism development, green energy, logistics, and electronics manufacturing. These engagements are expected to create momentum for new projects, job creation, and technology partnerships.

Minister Adluri Laxman stated that the Telangana Rising Global Summit is positioned to be a defining platform for the state’s next phase of development and economic expansion, setting the course for the coming two decades.
