Unlike traditional circulators and isolators that rely on rare-earth magnets, Metamagnetics’ Self-Biased Circulators eliminate the need for permanent magnets and are not reliant on materials sourced from China. These circulators are crucial for various Aerospace and Defense applications and are available in microstrip form from Ka band and above. With a footprint measuring approximately 0.100-inch x 0.110-inch x 0.010-inch, they are over 90% smaller in both volume and mass compared to conventional products using rare-earth magnets. The Self-Biased Circulators have proven resilient, enduring excessive shock and vibration environments exceeding 50,000 g-forces without compromising performance.
