SEA Digest: McEasy bags funding; Eftsure forays into Singapore

Two notable developments highlight Southeast Asia’s evolving tech and fintech landscape: Indonesia’s McEasy closed a $9 million Series B round to scale its fleet management platform across the region, while Australia-founded Eftsure launched in Singapore to bolster payment verification for finance teams handling domestic and cross-border transactions.

McEasy raises $9m Series B to accelerate regional growth

McEasy, an Indonesia-based fleet management and telematics startup, has secured $9 million in Series B financing comprising equity and venture debt. The equity portion was led by Singapore-based Integra Partners, with venture debt provided by InnoVen Capital. The company’s earlier backers include East Ventures and Granite Asia.

The equity tranche totaled $6 million, fully backed by Integra Partners. The investment gives Integra a 13.4% stake, making it the startup’s third-largest shareholder after East Ventures (22%) and Granite Asia (19%).

McEasy plans to deploy the fresh capital to expand beyond Indonesia into more Southeast Asian markets and to deepen its machine learning capabilities. The company aims to turn nearly a decade of collected vehicle data into predictive models that help customers optimize operations, prevent downtime, and improve safety.

“What this round buys is the shift from recording to predicting — turning nine years of vehicle data into models that tell fleet operators what happens next, rather than what already happened,” said McEasy co-founder and CEO Raymond Sutjiono. “We want to be the platform Southeast Asian fleets are measured against.”

Integra Partners’ investment thesis centers on McEasy’s operational discipline and customer expansion strategy. “McEasy’s land-and-expand strategy has produced growth that is consistent and reliable, not opportunistic. The company reached EBITDA profitability even without our capital, a result of a sustained focus on capital efficiency,” said Jennifer Ho, partner at Integra Partners.

Founded to modernize logistics and fleet management, McEasy offers tools for real-time tracking, route optimization, fuel and maintenance monitoring, and compliance. By enhancing its machine learning stack, the company aims to deliver predictive maintenance, risk scoring, and automated decision support that can scale across varied fleet sizes and regional regulatory environments.

Eftsure enters Singapore to strengthen payment assurance

Eftsure, a payment assurance company founded in Australia, has launched operations in Singapore, building on its presence in Australia, New Zealand, the US, and Europe. The expansion brings its continuous payment verification platform to finance teams in Singapore, enabling automated validation of supplier bank details and ongoing monitoring of vendor data across domestic and international transfers.

Singapore’s role as a regional financial hub, where multinational companies process high volumes of cross-border vendor payments via centralized finance functions, informed Eftsure’s move. The company also noted the lack of a public system to confirm whether a bank account belongs to a legitimate business, often leaving organizations to rely on time-consuming manual checks.

“AI has made fraud cheap to produce and truth expensive to verify,” said Karthik Manimozhi, global president for growth and markets at Eftsure. “Manual checks and callbacks were designed for a world where deception took effort and cost money. Trust now has to sit inside the infrastructure itself, validating payment data before money moves.”

Eftsure’s verification network spans more than 190 countries and territories and covers roughly 85% of the world’s banked population. The platform integrates across procure-to-pay, payroll, and other business payment workflows, helping organizations reduce the risk of business email compromise, invoice redirection, and data-entry errors.

Chief executive Jon Soldan underscored the tension finance leaders face between speed and control. “Finance leaders are expected to move faster, even as they tighten their governance and audit controls. That depends on confidence in the data behind every payment,” he said.

Founded in 2014 in Australia, Eftsure expanded to the US and, in 2025, combined with France-based Sis ID to broaden its European coverage. Today, the company says it serves more than 4,000 organizations worldwide and safeguards hundreds of billions of dollars in B2B payments annually.

Why it matters

Both developments point to growing demand for data-driven risk mitigation in critical operational workflows. McEasy’s push into predictive analytics reflects how logistics players are leaning on AI to improve uptime, safety, and cost efficiency. Eftsure’s entry into Singapore addresses escalating payment fraud risks and the need for embedded verification tools that keep pace with faster payment cycles.

As Southeast Asia’s logistics and financial operations become more interconnected, platforms that can reliably predict outcomes and verify counterparties are set to play a larger role in enterprise resilience and governance.
