Bakery, slime shop among RiverTown’s newest tenants
RiverTown Crossings in Grandville, Michigan, is filling out its storefronts with a wave of fresh arrivals, from a hands-on slime boutique and a new bakery to a comic shop and a pair of perfume retailers. The lineup builds on momentum from a recent beverage tenant and sets the stage for a busy fall and winter at the mall.
Throw It Back Dirty Soda opened last month, bringing customizable soda creations that blend soft drinks with flavored syrups and cream.

The mall’s evolution has accelerated under new ownership. Tennessee-based Poag Development Group—now operating as Poag Shopping Centers—acquired RiverTown Crossings in 2024. The company has been working with commercial real estate and investment management firm JLL to reinvigorate the property’s tenant mix and overall experience.
With a steady cadence of openings through fall and winter, the growing roster aims to draw diverse crowds—from families seeking interactive fun to shoppers on the hunt for holiday gifts, global treats, and the latest in streetwear and sneakers.
